Community Outreach

Giving back to underrepresented communities to bridge the digital divide

As a Latino growing up I went through a lack of resources in my community. However, Working Together supported me by offering programs that developed me into the student I am today. Now I am giving back by creating a website for this non-profit so their online presence can reach hundreds of more latino youth.

Currently I am working for Tech Corps where I am training 36 underrepresented student-interns in South Side Chicago with web development skills to create websites for their clients.

Athletics

I run D3 Cross Country and Track at CWRU

Running has been an integral part of my journey to being a first generation college student

Transitioning from soccer to running impacted my life as I learned the importance of Teamwork, Discipline, and Grit. I am proud to be one of the 6% of Latino College athletes in the NCAA.
